About Markkel Durden-Founder of Teron

Founder and visionary artist, Markkel Durden was born and raised in Decatur, Ga. Since 2007, Markkel was inspired by brands such as LRG, Lot 29, Coogi, Supreme, South Pole, Roca Wear, Sean John, and many of the legendary brands known today. By 18, Markkel started working in the fashion retail industry to learn the market and to study what people loved to shop for when it came to fashion. After one customer asked about adding embroidery initials to a purchased shirt, Markkel was curious to learn the embroidery process. After finding a custom embroidery and print shop, Markkel left the retail industry and started his journey in the world of personal customization. After several months of practice, Markkel specialized on working with letterman jackets for fraternities, sororities, high school students, fashion stylist, and ideas from customers.

Through the years, Markkel has listened, learned, and studied what customers wanted and needed when it comes to personal style and making every purchase personal and meaningful.

After years of personal customization, Markkel decided to embark on his own journey and created lifestyle brand Teron, which is the founder's middle name. The name was chosen in honor of making each product and design created personal from past and current life experiences and showcasing southern style to the fashion industry.

Markkel's mission is to work with many artist of the world, especially known in the south. For streetwear, fashion, and art to originate in cities like New York and California, Markkel wants the south to showcase it's passion in the same light. There is so much beauty and struggle from the south and it should be shared and showcased in every light possible.
